We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Technologist and Microbiologist to join our team at Lacroix Médecine Privée. As a key member of our laboratory services, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our medical biology services, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director in managing the activities of the medical biology services, including supervising and participating in the development of procedures, processes, and other documents.
- Issue recommendations to ensure the maintenance and improvement of services, including the selection of technologies and implementation of new technologies.
- Participate in the assessment of quality, organization, evaluation of staff, development, maintenance of skills, and orientation of the staff.
- Supervise and participate in the drafting, development, revision, and updating of procedures, processes, and other documents.
- Ensure that information is transmitted and monitor non-conformities.
- Participate in the selection of new hires and perform any other technical tasks as required.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Head of Biochemistry-Hematology and the Director to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- College diploma (DEC) in biomedical analysis technology from a school recognized by the competent ministry.
- 5 years of experience in microbiology, with recognized management skills.
- Availability 24/7 for emergencies according to a pre-established schedule.
- Membership in O.P.T.M.Q.
- Additional experience as a super user or pilot of computerized laboratory systems is an asset.
