Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck and Coach Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment, ensuring that our fleet is running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment, including trucks, buses, and trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and software.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and other team members.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements, including those related to hazardous materials and environmental protection.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • 4+ years of experience in heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • ASE certifications in relevant areas, such as brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
