Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in the head office and will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounting practices.

Financial Responsibilities

The role includes budgetary responsibility for amounts ranging from $100,001 to $500,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Complete tax returns
  • Prepare trial balances
  • Reconcile accounts regularly
Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following software is required:

Equipment Proficiency

Experience with scanners is also necessary.
