Your Role: Transmission & Distribution Line Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission & Distribution Line Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of transmission and distribution line projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design and create engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects
  • Select components such as insulators, hardware, conductors, and structures
  • Prepare estimates, quantity surveys, schedules, budgets, quotations, and reports
  • Develop plans, specifications, profiles, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and fabrication drawings
  • Participate in site work supervision, field surveys, and inspections
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and implement preventive or corrective measures
Qualifications
  • College diploma in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in transmission and distribution lines
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office Suite, Acrobat Reader, and other software, databases, and mapping tools
  • Mastery of CAD software, including AutoCAD and PLS-CADD
  • Familiarity with quality system procedures and instructions
  • Strong understanding of rules related to workplace safety, prevention, and hazardous materials
  • Asset: Bilingualism (French and English)
