About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Dunbar Painting Inc. As a Construction Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
  • Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, advising consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the final product.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
