We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Peterborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to our clients in a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform audits on various organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, responding to their needs and suggestions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities with existing clients.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in their professional development.
Your Background
  • You hold a CPA designation or are in the process of completing it.
  • You have 23 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
  • You have a strong interest in working with nonprofit organizations and are eager to develop your knowledge in this area.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in your work.
  • You possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
