Langara College is in the process of enhancing its Student Information System by implementing Workday Student. We are looking for a Strategic Analytics Consultant to play a crucial role in ensuring the effective sustainment and optimization of the system post-deployment. This position will operate under the direction of the operational area leader and will be pivotal in driving business improvements, system transformations, and operational analytics.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage process and system requirements to align with institutional objectives.
- Oversee Workday configuration to meet the needs of the organization.
- Coordinate system testing, upgrades, and product releases.
- Facilitate business process enhancements and provide ongoing support and training to users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors for system maintenance and integration.
- Develop and enforce security policies to ensure compliance and protect sensitive information.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, including a minimum of 1 year in Business Analytics.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with ITSM systems is advantageous.
- Experience in SharePoint administration is a plus.
- Background in value stream mapping, business process analysis, and data preparation.
- Experience in research and analysis to support best practice approaches for future processes.
- Ability to create functional specifications for reports, workflows, and interfaces.
- Experience in test planning and documentation of test scripts.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong logical reasoning capabilities.
