About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Team Member to join our team at Turtle Jack's. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and safe, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, and ensure that all dishes are served in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand for extended periods
