Job Summary:

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snow Removal Crew Lead to join our team. As a Snow Removal Crew Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of crew members in clearing and de-icing commercial, institutional, and industrial properties in the west Mississauga and Milton area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of crew members in snow clearing and de-icing operations
  • Direct and supervise crew members to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks
  • Operate snow blowers and other hand tools to clear snow from paved surfaces
  • Carry out equipment maintenance, including inspections, fueling, and ensuring safe operation
  • Lift and spread de-icing products as needed
  • Work closely with management to ensure timely and effective completion of snow removal operations

Requirements:

  • Full Ontario G license required for Lead Positions (driver's abstract required)
  • 1 year experience of snow removal as a crew lead
  • Cell phone with data required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing weather conditions
  • Good verbal and written communication and leadership skills

Working Conditions:

  • Work will be performed in a variety of weather conditions, including snow, ice, and freezing temperatures
  • May require evening to late night starts, extended hours, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Position is on call and requires 24/7 availability to respond to weather events

Compensation:

$23 - $25 an hour
