Job Title: First Aid Instructor

Vancouver First Aid Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Aid Instructor to join our team. As a First Aid Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our clients, ensuring they receive the necessary skills and knowledge to respond to medical emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive first aid training programs to clients
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
  • Organize reference materials, visual aids, and other materials as required by instructors
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions and client feedback
  • Establish marketing programs to promote first aid training services
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards
  • Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery
  • Deliver lectures and presentations to clients
  • Conduct training sessions and evaluate client performance
  • Instruct and supervise trainees
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in first aid training or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse client groups, including youth, Indigenous peoples, and individuals with disabilities
  • Knowledge of government programs and initiatives supporting persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees
  • Ability to provide mentorship and coaching to trainees
  • Experience with accessible and inclusive recruitment policies
