Job Title: On-Call Supervision Aides

The Vancouver School Board is seeking qualified candidates for the position of On-Call Supervision Aides to support the educational environment of our students.

Job Summary:

As an On-Call Supervision Aide, you will provide support to students and teachers in a variety of settings, including classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds. Your role will be to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, while also providing assistance with daily tasks and activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision and support to students in a variety of settings
  • Assist teachers with daily tasks and activities
  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, on-call position, requiring you to be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends. You will be required to work a minimum of 2.5 hours per day, with the possibility of additional hours as needed.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $26.82, plus 16% in lieu of benefits.
