Job Title: Field/Plant Operator

Job Summary:

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd. is seeking an experienced Field/Plant Operator to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our gas wells, compression, and dehydration facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain gas wells, compression, and dehydration facilities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Monitor and control equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in a field or plant operator role
  • Strong knowledge of current OH&S legislation and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving
