We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Ricky's All Day Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and presented in a safe and appealing manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide training and guidance on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and safe, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
This is a permanent, full-time position with 32 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
