Join Our Team as a Welding Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Welding Intern. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the success of our shipbuilding program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in performing mechanical testing and supporting the technical department and production team.
  • Conduct failure and root cause analysis on welding-related issues.
  • Support the Welding Quality Management System (WQMS) initiative.
  • Assist in reviewing and organizing the COE Lab database.
  • Work on special projects assigned by the Welding Engineering and Welding Quality Senior Manager.
Requirements:
  • Enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of a Metallurgical/Materials Engineer or Welding Technologist degree program.
  • Good knowledge of shipbuilding welding processes and national/international welding codes, rules, and standards.
  • Innovative thinking skills and the ability to get to the source of truth.
  • Outstanding integrity and honesty in all situations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.
  • Outstanding MS Office skills.
