The Role
The Bartender is a key member of our hospitality team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while accurately mixing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Take orders from guests and servers, and prepare drinks in a timely fashion
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring a positive guest experience
- Provide information on wine characteristics and make recommendations to guests
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Work collaboratively with fellow associates and other service departments to ensure seamless service
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a high-volume bartender
- Ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and guest relations
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team
- Must be able to obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications
Working Conditions:
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and stooping for extended periods, as well as frequent reaching and handling of objects.
