About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Millwright 3 Year Apprentice to join our team at Bevertec. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant utilities, machinery, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, modifications, and rigging as required.
  • Complete and accurate feedback on PM work orders, outlining completion or additional work and materials required.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring all equipment is properly guarded and operating in a safe manner.
  • Provide technical support to HR, Processes, Products, and Equipment departments.
  • Ensure a smooth hand-off with Technical Team Members on other shifts, promoting effective communication and transition.
  • Participate in department team meetings to review and resolve quality, service, operations, facilities, human resources, and health and safety issues.
  • Participate in 5 "S" activities and operational problem-solving to improve processes.
  • Assist in training and development of new team members.
  • Measure success through equipment uptime, minimized breakdowns, PM effectiveness, and reliability.
Requirements
  • A skilled trade certificate and/or relevant industrial experience.
  • Hands-on technical skills in Mechanical Assembly, Machine Repair, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic systems, PLC, and CNC control and logic systems.
  • 5 years minimum experience in hands-on repair and maintenance of CNC machining and automated assembly applications in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on QS9000 Operating Systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
