GHD is committed to helping you make a positive impact on the environment. As a Graduate Environmental Engineer/Scientist, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on developing our entry-level technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare project-related technical documents, including environmental reports, technical specifications, work plans, and cost estimates.
- Conduct field work and oversight for environmental investigations and remediation activities, including site investigations, contractor management, drilling, soil sampling, and groundwater sampling.
- Coordinate and schedule project-related work, including working with other GHD staff, external contractors, and public entities to obtain permits.
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is an asset.
- 0-5 years of experience in the environmental engineering field, with experience working in a construction setting an asset.
- Willingness to travel for field work, including working in inclement weather conditions and remote locations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexible with project types and responsibilities.
- Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills to effectively express technical information.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and be highly communicative.
- Valid driver's license, with an MVR check performed prior to hire.
- Fluent in Spanish is an asset.
