About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our Development Support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth testing and development operations of multiplayer game modes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting development teams in early testing and documentation creation
  • Providing feedback on the health and testing of specific areas/features
  • Fielding design questions from Core QA and acting as the initial point of contact for development teams
  • Collaborating with QA leads to adjust testing based on their needs
  • Conducting network and connectivity testing for multiplayer game modes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Multiple development cycle experience with a focus on multiplayer game modes
  • Strong understanding of network and connectivity testing, including lag, latency, disconnections, matchmaking, and synchronization
  • Experience writing testing instructions or briefs
  • Experience estimating testing efforts
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable interfacing with QA and Production teams
