Senior Legal Counsel Corporate Law

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our Corporate Law team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our business leaders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support on corporate finance transactions, including public and private offerings of securities and credit facilities in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
  • Assist in the negotiation of agreements, including credit facilities, underwriting agreements, NDAs, and transfer agency agreements.
  • Develop and maintain corporate documentation related to these matters.
  • Coordinate business feedback on agreements and legal documentation, and interact with external counsel and project management.
Requirements:
  • University degree and membership in a provincial bar in good standing.
  • 5-7 years of experience in securities law and corporate finance matters.
  • Strong drafting, legal, and written communication skills with a practical solution-oriented approach.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with experience addressing multiple projects at once.
