Job Posting: Math/Careers/Entrepreneurship Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced teacher to join our team at Sparwood Secondary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Math and Career Education courses to students in grades 8-12.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Math and Career Education courses to students in grades 8-12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice
Requirements:
  • BC Teacher Certification
  • Degree or formal training in Math and Career Education
  • Teaching experience in Math and Career Education at the secondary level
