About the Role

Mr. Blanchette is seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Specialist to join our team. As a Childcare Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to meet the dietary needs of the children
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their emotional well-being and safety
  • Organize activities such as games and outings to promote social development and fun
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • Assist with personal hygiene and social development of the children
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

As a Childcare Specialist with Mr. Blanchette, you will work in a non-smoking environment with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note that this is not a condition of employment.
