We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Rider team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our user experience platform, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and meets the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and solve strategically essential consumer-facing rider problems, including architecting and building foundational product platforms.
- Lead new product initiatives and revamp core rider experiences, making data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Data Scientists, Researchers, and Operations teams, to drive business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's vision.
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development, with a track record of building impactful products or systems.
- Strong data insight and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- 2+ years of experience coding in Ruby on Rails, with a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Competitive salary range: CAD $126,000 - $174,000.
- Performance-based annual bonus and pre-IPO equity.
