Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Two Hills Health Centre. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for performing procedures in both the laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze biological specimens
  • Conduct X-ray examinations, ECGs, and report results
  • Prepare patients for procedures
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
  • Perform quality control procedures
Requirements
  • Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT)
  • Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT)
  • Recent cardiology experience, including ECG and Holter Monitor
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting diagnostic imaging equipment, including Kodak 850 CR Reader, Phillips X-ray unit, and Art Plus Portable for mobile x-ray
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, including Vitros 250/350 or XT3400, ACL Elite Pro, Sysmex XN550, Clinitek Status, I-Stat, and Triage Meter Pro
  • Experience with computer systems, including Muse and Agfa PACS
Working Conditions

This is a regular part-time position with a 0.60 FTE. The successful candidate will be required to take call and live within 30 minutes of the facility when on call.
