Job Title: Drilling Floorhand

We are seeking a skilled Drilling Floorhand to join our team at Precision Drilling Canada Limited Partnership.

Job Summary:

The Drilling Floorhand will be responsible for assisting in the drilling and removal of pipes, drill stems, and drill bits at the rig floor. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the manipulation of sections of pipes or drill stems at the rig floor during drilling and removal.
  • Handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, cement, and other materials.
  • Clean up rig areas and assist in setting up, taking down, and transporting drilling and service rigs and equipment.
  • Drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment.
Requirements:
  • Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) basic safety orientation (BSO) certification.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate.
  • Rig Worker Fall Protection certification.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
Work Environment:

The Drilling Floorhand will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands. The role requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with hazardous materials.
