About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Isidore Landscapes Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Security Measures: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, and maintain control records to ensure network stability and efficiency.
  • Data Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
  • Network Setup and Configuration: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring secure and reliable access to our network resources.
  • Network Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
