Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at RSC Cleaning Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office buildings, commercial spaces, and private residences.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture; stock linen closets; clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items; provide basic information on facilities.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Special Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings; address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Office building, commercial building, private residence, hotel, motel, resort, shopping centre, or mall.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, team player.
