Chief Executive Officer Job Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for steering the strategic direction of BC Building Products Ltd. and ensuring the effective implementation of organizational policies and initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, including material, human, and financial, to execute the company's policies and programs.
  • Authorize the creation of major departments and appoint senior management positions.
  • Coordinate operations across various regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Establish and monitor financial and administrative controls, develop promotional strategies, and oversee human resources planning.
  • Set organizational objectives and approve policies and programs to achieve them.
  • Act as the representative of the organization in negotiations and official engagements.
  • Select and empower middle managers and directors, delegating necessary authority to foster optimal working conditions.
