Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at Les Escapades Memphrémagog. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and Sanitize Dishes: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Prepare Kitchen: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and Store Cleaning Products: Safely handle and store cleaning products, ensuring they are out of reach of children and pets.
  • Remove Kitchen Garbage and Trash: Regularly remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Assist with Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including loading buspans and trays, and placing dishes in storage areas.
Work Environment

As a Dishwasher at Les Escapades Memphrémagog, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
  • Availability: Availability to work 35 hours per week.
