About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Skystar Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including crane operators, laborers, and other personnel.
  • Crane Operations: Operate and maintain cranes, ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and monitor construction work to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.
  • Team Management: Train and supervise apprentices, ensuring they receive the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Material Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential safety risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train, but prior experience in construction site supervision or a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35-40 hours per week.
