Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Distribution Specialist to join our team at Lordco Auto Parts. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of automotive parts to our stores and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders, as well as receive and put away inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Diligently inspect stock for damage and report any discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Follow established procedures for preparing and packing special orders for our stores and customers.
- Operate various equipment, including electric and manual pallet jacks, forklifts, picker trucks, conveyor systems, and walkie talkies.
- Practice caution when working around moving machinery and use an online stock control system to perform specific tasks.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is an asset.
- Forklift certification and WHMIS/Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification are considered assets.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to work full-time.
