About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sherry's Five Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective food service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, stock, and wastage.
    • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless food service delivery.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit budget and cost estimates for food service operations.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Culinary Knowledge
    • Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and menu offerings.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week.
