We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Maternity team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.
About the Role:As a Registered Nurse in our Maternity department, you will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients, from prenatal care to postpartum support.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
- Collaborate with the Maternity Coordinator and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential risks, and implement interventions to prevent complications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that serves a diverse population, with an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. Our hospital offers a range of services, including Acute Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Department, Extended Care, Pediatrics, Radiology, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
