Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Producer, Stage Director to join our team at the Children's Theatre of Richmond Association. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the artistic aspects of our productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead a Team
    • Direct and manage a team of staff and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of our productions.
  • Plan and Organize Productions
    • Develop and implement production plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee Artistic Aspects
    • Work closely with our artistic team to design and implement sets, costumes, furnishings, and props that meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders
    • Communicate effectively with our stakeholders, including actors, designers, and other production team members.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language and Work Environment
    • English language proficiency.
    • 30 hours per week, permanent work term.
