Job Title: Part-time Caretaker

Grande Prairie Public School Division is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Caretaker to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school is safe and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment and furniture.
  • Ensure the school is safe and secure by reporting any hazards or concerns to management.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the caretaking field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
