About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Python Software Developer Intern to join our development team at Safe Software. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced mentors, and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and design discussions to contribute to the development of our Python-based plugins and FME Packages.
  • Write and design readable, maintainable, and performant code to meet the requirements of our projects.
  • Analyze and resolve issues, and learn and understand new technologies based on planned new features.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation to ensure the quality and consistency of our codebase.
  • Test implementations and create automated tests to ensure the reliability and stability of our software.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in Python programming, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with REST APIs, object-oriented programming, and Git is an asset. Additionally, you should be able to work well in a remote team environment and be motivated to learn new technologies and skills.
