About the Role

Momi Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and sites to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to prepare sites for construction.
  • Material Handling: Operate equipment to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Site Management: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are open to training the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
