Job Title: Senior Math Tutor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Math Tutor to join our team at Prep Academy Tutors. As a Senior Math Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support to students in mathematics, based on your expertise and knowledge of the Ontario curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized instruction to students in mathematics, tailored to their needs and learning style.
  • Develop and implement supplemental assignments to help students deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Offer remedial and enrichment support to students, as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and provide updates on their child's academic journey.
Requirements:
  • Hold a registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or be qualified to teach in a Canadian Province/Territory outside of Ontario.
  • Have experience teaching mathematics, preferably in a private tutoring setting.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
