Job Title: Test Automation Developer

TV2 Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Developer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and other testing methodologies.
  • Lead accessibility testing efforts for web applications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate test activities within the team to ensure efficient execution.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of test execution and provide detailed execution plans for all testing cycles.
  • Provide guidance, coordination, and coaching to development team members supporting QA activities.
  • Liaise with external partners to ensure effective and timely delivery.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure bug fixes do not affect existing functionality.
  • Mentor developers on best practices in test automation and stay informed about the latest testing tools and strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Proficient in using automated testing tools.
  • Experience with performance testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile team environment.
Benefits:
  • Work onsite in Ottawa, Canada up to 3 days a week collaborating with the team.
  • Work hours are Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
