We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual who will focus on fulfilling our customers' needs, ensuring that each client feels valued. In this position, you will manage customer order inquiries from our distribution centers alongside a skilled team of bilingual specialists. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer purchase orders through various communication channels for both Canadian and American markets;
  • Evaluating customer orders and accounts to recommend effective solutions that optimize time and cost;
  • Overseeing inventory transactions and logistical requests utilizing diverse software systems;
  • Responding to inquiries from customers and our sales team regarding product availability, providing alternatives and solutions as needed;
  • Following up with customers on pending orders awaiting collection;
  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate product pickups and delivery schedules for our clients.

A Day in the Role

As a Customer Order Coordinator, your day begins by being available for incoming inquiries. Typically, calls from our dealer network account for a portion of your workday, while the remaining inquiries are managed through a ticketing system on a first-come, first-served basis. As your day progresses, you will engage with various internal partners: Transport, Distribution, Production, and Sales, among others. This interaction enhances your understanding of our internal processes and products, paving the way for future career development within the organization. Downtime is utilized for refreshments and to leverage your knowledge of ERPs and Microsoft Suite to refine our internal and external processes.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to service excellence and ownership of every customer interaction;
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, a positive demeanor, and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Capability to multitask, coordinate, prioritize, and follow up within specified deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word;
  • Self-driven, proactive, and quick to learn;
  • Familiarity with inventory transaction and logistics systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) is advantageous.
