Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Join Ontario Inc. as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, stock, and wastage, helping to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in food service management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
