About the Role:

The Easton's Group of Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our hotel operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller with financial tasks and projects.
  • Verify and correct audit reports prepared by the night auditor.
  • Balance transactions from previous days and prepare daily financial reports.
  • Make collection calls and compile and balance credit card vouchers for direct deposit.
  • Prepare daily invoicing and maintain accurate records of all accounts.
  • Answer guest inquiries and set up billing requests.
  • Control advance deposits and follow up on accounts as required.
  • Inform management of account status and perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in accounting or hotel industry.
  • Accounting education an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Multitasking and ability to deal with all levels of management and staff.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and bilingualism in French and English.
