Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso/Circle K. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules.
    • Order merchandise and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
    • Organize and maintain inventory, including stockroom and display areas.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Sell merchandise and promote sales growth through effective merchandising and display techniques.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
    • Analyze sales data and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Use own transportation to travel to and from work and to make deliveries as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines.
    • Stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and reliable with excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
