About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Audit, you'll be responsible for leading audit teams and ensuring the application of correct accounting practices and methodologies. You'll work closely with clients to add value to their business, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping our clients navigate complex accounting issues and achieve their goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead audit teams and manage the audit process from planning to completion
  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements
  • Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff
  • Help clients reach solutions on their needs
  • Work with clients and partners through complex accounting issues to come up with appropriate solutions

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent
  • 5-8+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm
  • Previous experience with reporting standards ASPE and ASNPO required
  • Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities is derived from your dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service
  • Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, are a strong team player and have meticulous attention to detail
  • Professional accounting firm experience is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and demonstrate strong leadership qualities
