Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Regional Process Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our Air Separation and Carbon Dioxide facilities.

The specialist will focus on delivering technical support aimed at enhancing productivity, process efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives for cost reduction and Six Sigma productivity improvements.
  • Monitor and enhance plant operations by addressing KPI inefficiencies.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve operational challenges, including product recovery and efficiency issues.
  • Oversee plant thawing processes and assist in turnaround planning.
  • Ensure adherence to process safety standards and manage change effectively.
  • Promote a robust safety culture within the organization.
  • Facilitate the development and delivery of process training.
  • Support capital project proposals and execution.
  • Engage in incident investigations and cross-functional team collaborations.
  • Conduct equipment analyses as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:

Education: A degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in engineering and production operations is preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in P&IDs, schematic diagrams, and instrumentation components is essential. Strong technical skills in Process Safety procedures are also required.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, adaptability to changing situations, and excellent communication skills. The ability to foster productive relationships across departments is crucial.

Flexibility to accommodate plant operational needs and a willingness to travel are expected.
