About the Role

AquaPani is seeking a skilled CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technician to join our team. As a CAD technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing engineering designs and drawings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our design process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using CAD software, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Blueprint Analysis: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements, ensuring that designs meet specifications and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Train new drafting personnel on CAD software and design procedures, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Develop and prepare design sketches, write technical reports, and complete documentation packages and drawing sets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring that designs meet quality standards and company expectations.
  • Collaboration: Consult with client, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements, ensuring that designs meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Work Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality designs and meeting project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, architecture, or design.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in CAD design and drafting, with a strong understanding of CAD software and design principles.
  • Language: English language proficiency, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs.
