Position Overview

The Chopped Leaf is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to oversee our culinary operations. This role is essential in ensuring our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Work Environment
  • Food service establishment
  • Restaurant setting
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met
  • Prepare budget plans and cost estimates for operations
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit operational reports
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals.
