About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable individual to join our team at Carbon Cabinets Limited as a Cabinetmaker's Assistant. This role will provide support to our cabinetmaking team in various aspects of construction and material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all team members are following safety protocols.
  • Transportation: Provide own transportation to and from job sites.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring handling of heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
