About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Minhas Market Ltd. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of our retail store, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of sales staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold in the store, and ensure that they are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Staffing Requirements: Determine the staffing requirements for the store, and ensure that the necessary staff are hired and trained.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Recruitment and Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the store.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that the store is run efficiently and effectively.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
