Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Chiropractor to enhance our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will encounter a variety of complex cases, providing numerous opportunities for clinical learning and professional development. As a Chiropractor at UHN, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through their recovery journey. Utilizing your expertise in treating orthopedic conditions and chronic pain, you will facilitate the rehabilitation and reintegration of injured individuals into their work and daily lives. Experience in hand therapy is a plus. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients and treatment teams, to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Additionally, you may be required to perform cross-functional and cross-site responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements for the Chiropractor Role:

Doctor of Chiropractic Degree completion Registration with the relevant regulatory body is mandatory At least one year of experience in treating clients with work-related injuries or motor vehicle accidents, with a focus on functional assessment and return-to-work planning (preferred but not essential) Strong orientation towards evidence-based rehabilitation practices

Key Attributes of an Ideal UHN Clinician:

Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate initiative, and exercise sound judgment Familiarity with insurance reporting requirements and experience in case management is desirable A dedicated team player who can work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
