We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at 2218140 ONTARIO INC. as a Heavy Equipment Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Use computerized and other testing equipment to detect faults and malfunctions in diesel engines and heavy equipment.
  • Diagnose and Repair Faults: Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Adjust and Repair Equipment: Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test and Maintain Equipment: Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Clean and Lubricate Equipment: Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Service Attachments and Tools: Service attachments and working tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Verify and Repair Emission Control Systems: Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
